Annie the Musical

When Jansen woke up this particular morning, I told her we were going to see Annie that night...she came back into my room all ready!

We went to eat one of Jansen's favorite foods. Pizza!! We had dinner at Campisi's then headed to the Winspear Opera House.

Waiting for the show to start!

She absolutely loved it...so much so she was determined to wear her "Annie" shoes to swim lessons the next day! Haha!
She sat through the whole thing and sang her little heart out! Her eyes were watering through most of it because  I'm guessing she was afraid to blink so she wouldn't miss a thing. It was definitely a blast getting to see Jansen in awe of the singers and dancers.

When Daddy is away...

...We try our best to fill up the calendar!  Jonathan went out of town last week and boy! Did we miss him?! I didn't realize how much Jansen would recognize his absence but she sure did! She asked about him every day, almost every hour! Although it made me sad to tell her he wasn't coming home for a couple of days, it also made me glad she has such a sweet relationship with him where she misses him that much!

Just dropped him off and we were TIRED! Dropped him off at 7:30am.
We met Brittany and her mom and sis in Canton for some Jerry's Pizza. This pregnant lady was craving it! And also stopped at Bahama Mamas for a sno come! Britt and I were reminiscing about multiple birthday parties at Jerrys when we were little. Nothing like your hometown.
We also started swim lessons last week! I was so proud of Jansen. I think she's going to be a little fish! She cried Thursday and I could not figure out why?! Well...it was because the vacuum was left in the pool and she thought it was a snake! Poor thing.
She was worn out almost every day after swim. Hungry and tired!
Tuesday night, I took my mom to Cinderella for her birthday! We ate at Del Friscos Grille and it was so good!

We also had two day of gymnastics, making up from last week! This girl loves gymnastics!
Thursday night, Andrea and Harleigh came to stay the night with us. I've been wanting A to try Rise so we took the girls and had a girly dinner!
It really does make me so happy to see Jansen and Harleigh play so well together! Andrea and I have such a special friendship so it's fun to get our girls together and see their little relationship grow!

Friday night, J helped me make this cake for her daddy and this was one happy girl Saturday morning! We were sooo ready to see Jonathan!
Love these two!
I caught them like this during nap time Saturday! She wasn't about to let her daddy out of her reach! Haha!

Jansen random happenings...

There are so many things I want to remember about Jansen while she's this age....excuse the photo overload!

On our way to church and "the "moon was hurting her eyes!"
While I had all day sickness my first trimester, Jansen had free reign of the house...and my closet apparently.
Her two and half check up

We had multiple snow days this year!
Her favorite books are Dr. Seuss books!
I had to snap this picture, because this is how she asks me for something! "Pwease!"

Road trip to College Station with Miss Harleigh and Andrea!
Jansen loved getting to dance with Elsa at Maylee's birthday party!

A week later, we saw frozen on ice! Her face is priceless.

Ready for her MDO Easter egg hunt
Licking the icing off of Nonny's traditional bunny cake!

Sassy!
Caught her eating candy from her basket early one morning!
Play date with the Badgeleys!
Taking shelter from one of the many tornado warnings!

Dr. Teat!
Jansen singing her little heart out during her MDO end-of-year program!
Twins!

She was so proud of how she carefully placed each of her toys and asked me to take her picture!

Jansen was a trooper during DBU's baseball regional tournament. We went to every dbu game so we could see Jonathan and, of course, cheer on DBU!
Star spangled banner. Proud (serious) American right here!
I have a real girly girl, let me tell ya!

This day, she dressed up as Cinderella and said she was waiting on her Prince Charming (her daddy!) to get home and dance with her.

We don't have Dorothy dress, but she improvised and still put on a blue dress with her dog in her basket, while watching Wizard of Oz!

And that's my girl! Love getting to be home to see her play and grow.
